My desktop disappears along with my start bar when my comp loads. I tried to fix it in task manager but it doesnt help. I tried to load my comp in safe mode but the same thing happens……everything just dieappers. What is a good anti virus program that I can download to get rid of the virus on my comp

I have Avira Antivirus Personal Now. It is good but I think it doesn’t detect spywares

Right now, I have AT&T Yahoo Online Protection Suite. It seems to work fine but I really wonder if it’s catching any viruses and stuff. Does anyone have this program also?

Anyways, I’ve been researching and think that I want to get the Eset Nod32 for my anti-virus, Zone Alarm for my firewall and Microsoft Windows Defender for spyware.

Is that a good combination or are there any other recommendations?

(Please don’t recommend AVG, Avast or Kaspersky)
