   no anti-virus or anti-spyware can be recommended or declared as the best or the worst either (unless somebody wants to advertise ordo some publicity) as some are good in oneway and some in others, all have disadvantages or drawbacks in either way that’s not in others such as some slows down pc in commans and web-surfing,some scans system slowly,some takes huge amount of application memory for its resident schield,some shows unnecessary warnings from time to time,some takes much disk space, some has small virus database, some shows false positive results ,some doesn’t offer any trial version for testing before buying lisence..etc.
   here are some internet security suite pacakage that people use most:
   1.AVG Internet security suite 7.5.x
   2.AVS (Active virus schield)
   3.keperesky internet security suite
   4.CA (Computer Associates) internet security suite
   5.Mcafee internate security suite 2007
   6,Zone alarm internet security suite 2007
   7.Norton internet security suite 2007 (Symantec corpo. )

   i would say from personal experience, norton anti virus is the best…actually anything norton is excellent…even though you have to pay for the subscription, their tech service is far above anything else i have delt with before

   well you can try norton and now with the new sistem they have the confidencial sistem they tell you went same one is trying to spy in you

   mcaffee is probably one of the best anti spyware. There is a free reversion, but the one you pay for is better. Anti virus, I would say Norton has the best one.

   There isn’t any. It depends what for those soft are needed and who is going to use.

   All software developers say their item is best. I give you example to satisfy you. I use Norton which is costly and save me from viruses but can not trace spy were though some free trial ware such a Adaware can locate hidden ad ware and clean my pc very easily.

   There is also AVG which is free and best.

   If you think by asking here will help you NO, you decide yourself and choose anyone.

   ADVISE* sometimes spy ware and ad ware soft find some files as a spy or ad ware but in real those could be associated to Windows, therefore if you are not so sure DO NOT DELETE because a costly software is saying that, use your MIND please.

   i would go fo McAfee because i’m using it now it has also a feature that prevents any user including you to install softwares or create a file in the system32 and Windows folder remotely or locally.

    Check out Norton, AVG , Avast. These are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html
